Listening therapy or rehabilitation is not only for those with hearing loss or in need of a hearing aid. Four out of every ten people tested have normal hearing, yet they continue to experience problems with listening, hearing or understanding. For this reason our specialty goes beyond testing for hearing loss. Instead we focus on communication and ‘what you do with what you hear’. This process is known as Auditory Processing.
Prevention is the key when it comes to hearing loss. At More Than Hearing we test for hearing loss but we also evaluate indices of early hearing changes and provide advice on the best ways to conserve and protect your hearing.
The prescription and fitting of hearing aids is only one part of our hearing rehabilitation program. We provide a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services, including more than 20 years of experience practising tinnitus assessment and therapy using our transdisciplinary approach.
We are pleased to announce that our current client success rate is 98%, based on our latest EARtrack survey. Read more about our survey processes
